Our University Parish Group reflects the spirit and energy of Frederick Ozanam; he founded this society at The University of Paris, specifically to meet the needs of the poor and under-privileged.
Meetings are held every two weeks on a Monday.

St. Carthage’s Feminist Theology Group
Meets on the 4th Monday of the Month at St. Carthage’s Church.
Feminist Theology Group: Claire Renkin claire.ren@optusnet.com.au reports: “We are faithful Catholic women who gather to share our hopes and our struggles to create a more just and inclusive church. We gather to pray and reflect on a book, article or event that challenges us to imagine what a church that values and respects women’s baptismal call and gifts might look like. Our practice is to meet monthly in the evening.” Further details will be posted shortly.

Parish Hospitality Group
Our Parish Hospitality Group offers tea/coffee after the 10.00am Mass every Sunday. A popular meeting place for parishioners and friends.

St. Carthage’s Music Group
Our Parish Music Group has been a long tradition at St. Carthage’s and was originally founded to prepare folk Masses in the 1980’s.
The Group contributes to the Eucharistic services on a regular basis, and also prepares special programs for Christmas and Holy Week/Easter.
If you are interested in assisting with the singing or providing musical accompaniment on keyboard or guitar, contact Helen Scorgie helenmscorgie@gmail.com.

Meditation Group
Liz Dohrmann reported that the group meets regularly on Zoom every
Wednesday 5.30pm for a 30 minute meditation, with a monthly meal together in person.
