PROPOSED COLUMBARIUM AT ST CARTHAGES, PARKVILLE

Columbarium
The parish is considering a proposal from the architect Robert Simeoni to build a Columbarium as a sacred space at the rear of the site of our church, containing the ashes of those connected in  some way to St Carthage’s, and as a place of quiet reflection. For images, see the attached link. The parish encourages expressions of interest from those wanting to learn more about the project. Contact the parish office parkville@cam.org.au by Fri 8 July, prior to a meeting of the Finance Committee.

The Pastoral Council is also establishing a group involved in Pastoral Visiting (bringing communion to parishioners unable to come to mass), alongside other groups working in areas of Liturgy. Hospitality and Sacramental Education. If you are interested in know more about these groups, contact the parish office.
