Society of St Vincent de Paul

St Vincent de Paul was founded almost two centuries ago at the University of Paris to assist people who find themselves in difficult financial and social circumstances. The organisation now operates worldwide and helps individuals, families and communities in need. That need can be associated with natural disasters, family violence, relationship breakdown, illness, job losses and unemployment, drug and alcohol problems, mental health issues, bereavement and many different issues.

St Vincent de Paul helps people of all backgrounds. You do not need to be a Catholic to call upon its members for help.

If you live in the Parkville-Carlton-Collingwood area and need support please see contacts listed on the St Vincent de Paul page on this website.

If you live elsewhere please seek out your local branch by calling this central referral number: 131812

and your call will be directed to your local branch.
